Hi, I’m Ali Romano, a stylist with 14 years behind the chair and a passion for creating dimensional, lived-in color. Blondes, brunettes, and reds all have a special place in my heart—though if you know me, you know reds are my absolute favorite!

Alongside color, I specialize in hair extensions. I primarily offer Weft Extensions and also work with Keratin Bonds (k-tips) for clients who are looking for another option.

When it comes to both color and extensions, my top priority is the health of your hair and scalp. Beautiful hair is only possible when it’s healthy, so I’ll never compromise integrity to get there. My goal is to help you achieve your dream hair in a way that’s safe, realistic, and sustainable. I believe “clear is kind,” which means I’m always honest and transparent with clients about the process, expectations, and what it will take to reach your goals.

Through years of education, refinement, and attention to detail, I’ve honed my techniques to deliver natural, tailored results that look and feel like you.

I’m a Vandalia, Ohio native, and in 2011 I graduated from The Aveda Institute Columbus. From there, I completed a year-long apprenticeship at Charles Penzone, where I began my career behind the chair. Over the years, I’ve invested in countless classes—from NBR and Bellami extensions to advanced color education with leading artists in the industry. Education has been, and always will be, a cornerstone of my craft.

Now, I co-run Ruby’s Beauty Salon with my husband, Jonny Cosmo (@jonnycosmo_), where together we lead an incredible team of stylists. We’re proudly sponsored by Oligopro and travel the country teaching classes for other stylists, helping elevate the industry we love so much.
